Andrew Scott Wills, the songwriter-producer behind Hawken Horse has produced dozens of artists over the years including Kentucky born duo Bullitt County. After a recent discussion, the brother Kevin and Devin have chosen to get out of music as they lean into focusing on their families and love of the outdoors. In an effort to preserve popular Bullitt County/Hawken Horse collaborations (such as "Orion", "Where the River Winds" and "Ghosts") Wills has acquired the band and its catalog to maintain its LWM Records home.
Wills plans to release a few tracks this fall as a nod to hunting season with plans of new outdoor-related projects to follow.
